For all models, the measurement of the UV radiation is done by a silicon photo-electric for the direct measurement of the UV intensity. There is no UV light converted into visible light which may cause incorrect calculations. The VLX-3W is a highly accurate and user friendly radiometer. It is controlled by a microprocessor to program and to measure the UV radiation dosage according to two parameters: time (min or sec) or energy (J/cm²). The VLX-3W is connectable to three interchangeable sensors, which have to be used one at a time. The sensors have to be ordered separately, they are available in 254 nm, 312 nm or 365 nm
